Itinerary

The full-day trip to Essaouira Mogador departs from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:00 a.m and arrives in Essaouira. Before moving on to Sidi Mokhtar, we will first travel through the Haouz plains to the village of Chichaoua, where you can have a cup of coffee. You may see goats climbing the trees as we pass through the forest of Argan trees. Before we continue on to Essaouira, pause and take some pictures. Upon arriving in Essaouira, our first activity is to explore the harbor, which features an old Portuguese fortification and a fishing port. There, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, are still intact examples of medieval battle cannons arranged in a row. Next, proceed to the Medina, or old city, which boasts an 18th-century fortification that is remarkably well-preserved. La Scala, the main landmark of the Medina, was constructed to fend off seaborne attacks by foreign powers. We then proceed to Bab Laalouj, one of Essaouira's main gates, and finally to Mellah, the neighborhood's historic Jewish district.

Along the road, a number of galleries, gift and art shops, and stores selling thuya wood crafts are arranged chronologically. Pick a café in the neighborhood for a delectable seafood meal. Following that, we travel to a Kasbah that is well-known for having been a military stronghold. Take pleasure in a stroll around Mogador's sandy beach if you adore the seaside. As you lounge in the sun, you may observe amateur windsurfers and kite surfers. Finally, to make your late-afternoon return to Marrakech, this excursion ends with drop-off at your accommodation approximately at 06 PM.
