Itinerary

Our staff will greet and assist you when you arrive at the Marrakech airport, and you will then be driven to your lodging in a nice, air-conditioned automobile. Spend the night in a hotel, riad, or guest house with breakfast.

You begin a guided city tour of Marrakech after breakfast at where you're staying The tour includes stops at the Koutoubia, a representative structure of Almohades art, the Museum of Marrakech (which features ceramics, pottery, and jewels), and the Palace of the Bahia, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture with patios and gardens. Saadian tombs, where the exquisite decorations and the crossing of the tourist destination Djemaa El Fna square will awe you. Visit the city's outskirts in the afternoon, including the tower walls, the olive tree-planted Garden of Menara, the French painter Jacques Majorelle's botanical garden, Medersa Ben Youssef, the crown jewel of Arab-Andalusian architecture, and Majorelle Garden. Spend the night in a hotel, riad, or guest house with breakfast.

Following breakfast at your place of accommodation, we drive to Ouarzazate and the High Atlas, traversing the Atlas via the 2,260-meter Tizi'n'Tichka pass. The mountains provide a wide diversity of scenery and a view of multiple amphitheater-style hamlets. A vital route and breathtaking scenery will lead us to the villages of Telouet and Ait Ben Haddou, where we will see the renowned Kasbah of El Glaoui, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After there, we'll continue on to Ouarzazate, where you'll have lunch and see the movie studios and Taurirt Kasbah. After that, we'll go across Skoura's palm valley to Dades Gorges, where we'll see the Kasbahs. After that, we travel to Kalaat Mgouna via Rose Valley before continuing on to Toudgha. Spend the night with breakfast and dinner at a hotel, riad, or guest house.

Right after breakfast at your place of accommodation, we drive through the Toudra Valley to the Merzouga desert. We will stop at the Gorges of Dades for some breathtaking views of the vast canyon and then visit the village of Todra. After touring the Todra Gorges, we will reach Erfoud, the city of fossils and dates, where we will have lunch before continuing on to the Merzouga desert. Visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, the founder of the Alaouite Dynasty of Morocco, which is situated on the town's southern boundary, after traversing the village of Rissani. Arriving in Merzouga and trekking on a camel for approximately one and a half hours to reach the Erg Chebbi dunes, taking in the most breathtaking sunset over the dunes, listening to music and folklore at night under the stars in a camp in the Saharan desert, and spending the night with breakfast and dinner in a Berber tent at the base of the dunes.

NB: If you book a luxury tour, then you will have breakfast and shower at the desert camp; otherwise, the breakfast and the shower will be at the hotel after your camel rides back in the morning.

You can enjoy the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi desert dunes as you wake up early, eat a traditional breakfast in the desert camp, ride your camels, and then return to your hotel in Merzouga village. From there, you will meet the driver to begin a new exploratory journey towards Fes, Morocco's eldest imperial city. You will drive to Errachidia, passing through Erfoud, stopping at the Oasis de Aoufous (located in the palm grove of Ziz, providing a panoramic view of the oasis for photographers), and then continue on to Errachidia, stopping at the Dam, which offers visitors stunning panoramic views due to its blue/green water and ocher-colored mountains. Proceed across the Middle Altas and pass the 1,907-meter-high Pass of Tizi N'talghom. We arrive in Midelt, Morocco's apple capital. Following a customary lunch, we travel to the town of Azrou, where we can visit an 800-year-old tree known as Cedre Gouraud, observe the monkeys (Barbary apes) in the Middle Atlas' cedar forest, From here, we'll head to Ifran, often called Switzerland of Morocco, which is situated in a hilly region at a height of 1713 meters. The Ifrane National Park is close by, and the lion, one of the creatures that once called it home, is a symbol of the park. We drive you directly from Ifran to Fes, where you will arrive in the evening at around 6 or 7 PM. This desert tour concludes with a drop-off at your Fes lodging. Spend the night with breakfast at a hotel, riad, or guest house.

Following breakfast at the place you are staying, you depart on a guided Fes city tour. With its many mosques, Medersas, walls and ramparts, fortified gates, mausoleums, palaces, and squares, this thousand-year-old city is a cultural and spiritual hub that makes it easy to get lost in its past. A guided tour of the Andalusian districts, the Moulay Idriss zaouïa, the Marinids necropolis, the El Attarin Madrassah, and the magnificent Karaouyine will provide you the points of reference you need to examine the city of Fassie's religious and historical legacy. With your guide, have lunch at a Moroccan restaurant. the atmosphere of the souks makes Fez a haunting city as well! Allow your senses to carry you away as you lose yourself in the vibrant, boisterous maze with delicate or delicious scents. To learn all the traditional secrets of eastern beauty, don't miss the henna souk. Explore the souk el-Attarine, a spectacular concentration of all the hues and fragrances of spices, for a feast for the senses. Once you have your breakfast at your place of accommodation, we drive to Meknes, the capital of the Ismailis and one of the imperial cities. Known as the "Moroccan Versailles," this city was established at the end of the 17th century and is encircled by a triple 40-kilometer enclosure. It is made up of two agglomerations: the Medina, which has Morocco's most beautiful gate, Bab El Mansour, and the new, contemporary city on the other side. Discover the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, the Royal stables, the granary, Bab Al-Mansour, and the Sahrij Souani basin. Lunch time is free. We then make the 30-kilometer drive from Meknes to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. With numerous exquisite mosaics strewn throughout, as well as historic pillars and archways, it is in excellent condition and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You drive to Rabat, the kingdom's administrative capital, after taking a walk around the remains.
